The School of Chemistry celebrated 50 years of Chemical Physics at the University of Edinburgh.

Alumni and current students joined the event with a full programme of intersting talks and informative posters as well as exciting presentations. Alumni shared their experiences and memories of the department while getting an insight into the current research and studies by final year chemical physics students.

After the talks, staff, students and old friends enjoyed the refreshing, home-brewed chemical physics beer - which resulted in a couple of drunk PhD students!
